Guilty Plea Vacated - Successful Motion Error Coram Nobis

Attorney Lorgio Coimbra drafted a Motion Error Coram Nobis, which is essentially a motion to vacate a guilty plea beyond the 120-day deadline and which is based on principles of "equity," (i.e., fairness).  Attorney Bruce McGregor argued the motion in the Los Angeles Superior Courthouse, Torrance Court.  The judge granted the motion and our client, a young man who previously plead to grand theft, was able to have the plea vacated.  Our lawyers will now successfully defend him against the original charges but he has a fresh start and does not have to worry about a flawed guilty plea haunting him for the rest of his life.
