Dismissal of Witness Intimidation Charges

Client was charged in April 2001 with intimidation of a witness in court. During a criminal proceeding, our client allegedly threatened a witness. Our Torrance criminal defense law firm was able to convince a local prosecuting agency that there was insufficient evidence to proceed with the case. An agreement was made whereby the case was continued for six (6) months and then dismissed. The client, a woman with no prior criminal record, who denied any wrongdoing, received the result that she asked for: a complete dismissal.

Persistent contact with the prosecutor and refusing to accept any plea bargain resulted in the complete dismissal of the case.
