Dismissal of Hit and Run, DUI and DUI with Chemical Test Refusal Allegation

Our client was charged with 23152(a) (driving under the influence of alcohol) with an additional allegation that he refused a chemical test.  Our client was also charged with hit and run base upon the fact that his car was involved in a traffic collision and he had left the scene.  After extensive plea negotiations over a period of nine (9) months, our firm was able to obtain a dismissal of Count I, DUI with a refusal allegation.  We were also able to negotiate with the cable television service to accept a restitution payment for service interruption of cable subscribers (our client hit a pole and caused an interruption to cable service) and had the matter dismissed by way of civil compromise pursuant to California Penal Code sections 1377 and 1378.  The result that was achieved in this particular case only occurred because our firm was willing to take the time and make extensive efforts on behalf of our client.  Our firm prides itself on going the extra mile for our clients and not accepting the first offer from the prosecution.  Our firm makes every attempt to obtain the most favorable settlement on behalf of our clients no matter how long it takes.
