Dismissal of Carjacking Charge

Client was charged with car jacking under California Penal Code Section 215.  The client was looking at a total of nine (9) years in state prison!

The client also had the unfortunate circumstance of being on felony probation.  Torrance Attorney Robert Ernenwein  conducted a vigorous preliminary hearing and impeached the victim's version of the events.

Torrance Criminal Defense Lawyer Robert Ernenwein was able to have the matter reduced to a "joy riding" under California Vehicle Code section 10851! Our client received a probationary sentence with county jail time with
credit for the amount of time that he was in custody!  Our client is expected to be released in approximately 2 to 4 weeks after the settlement of the case!

Prior to Mr. Ernenwein's involvement, the client was looking at nearly a decade of state prison! This would have been in addition to time in state prison of the probation violation! 

Robert Ernenwein was able to have the defendant's probation reinstated.
